hi - great blog!! do you post the albums? or just pointing them out???
Hi there,
Usually I post my favourite track or two off each LP. Sometimes by special request or donantion I will post the whole LP.
I appologise for lack of posts recently but I am in the process of moving house and all my records and turntables are now boxed..

I love your blog. It's probably my favorite because you've already done the work of picking out the great songs on a record (because, let's be honest, a lot a records only have one or two good songs). If I really like a song, I'll go find the full album, and that's helped me learn about a lot of 70s soul and jazz artists I would never have known otherwise. So thanks for the help. Keep up the great work.
Hi there,
Thanks for the great words of support, it really is very much apreciated. I am so sorry not to have put much into the blog in the last few weeks, but I have been moving house, which I did yesterday and so I now have internet connection today..phew. However LP's and turntable are stll being unpacked so a couple more days till I can record some stuff and up it to the blog...so patience please.
Raggster, your comments are also most welcome and I have the greatest respect for you and your music..you are a breath of fresh air in a somewhat stale world at the moment..keep up your good work my friend.

Can you post this please? Would really be great. Thanks!
Nearly back on track guys. Three days into the new house, and things are coming together. I suspect by the weekend I will be spinning the tunes again and up the missing tunes to the blog.

Excellent tunes KG, thanks for these :)
Thx a lot!
Could you share Neat Beat track please???
I just ran across an album titled Hustle and all that jazz. It is signed by Lynda Gaehe, Frank Hatchett, Darla Wilson, Blasia, Connie Jo Israel, Sue Sanderson, Anna Marie Leo, Davie Tagewall. There are a few other signatures on the album, but I can't read them. Does anyone have any knowledge on this album?
Hey Marlin55,
Found some basic details for you, but not alot else, hope it helps:-
Artist: The National Scene
Title: Hustle and All That Jazz
Label: STATLER Records (SLP 1230)
Year: 1970's
Pressing: USA
Tracklist: Side A- peace pipe ; I need you ; long tall grass ; you got it ; glass house
Side B- baby face ; feel so fine ; wipe out ; foot stomping ; blow your whistle
A rare LP from obscure Statler Records label. The music is difficult to define but it has a groove to it. Something like a mixture of Tower of Power, ESG and a private jazz folk LP. Call it blue-eyed naive jazz funk. Intriguing
Regards KG
Thank you for the feedback. I have located some one that may have knowledge in this era of music and with Statler records. Thank you for getting back to me. Great blogsite you have here.
