ive been looking for a track (and please excuse the spelling) Terry Machaheno don't know the tiltle - ive always refered to it as the clapping song???, its an old Jap classic frenetic brazil fusiony thing.
Hewan Clarke used to hammer it back in the the day in manchester. any ideas???

Brilliant! heres what i know: the label is red and i think it was 12" not an album track. I do have it on a dusty old cassette (via a radio show back around 88) so ill start digging for it tonight and as soon as i get it will upload it for you.
I have no doubt you will know it for sure when you hear it. His name from a phonetic point of view would be: Terry Mass-a-he-no if that helps.
It has two bars that are trumpets then (handclaps) clap clap followed by another two bars clap clap then another two bars with no claps then it takes off in a really fast brazilian stylee, prob not that helpful :)
