That was the last good album by Doldinger. Never released on CD (and neither was Blues Happening). I have the 2 LPs but they sure show their age. I also like Doldinger's version of Scarborough Fair on this album.

I guess Ingfried Hoffmann on piano and his sidemen back then made it all happen. I don't think any of Doldinger's Passport stuff lived up to these recordings.

Total fan of Doldinger , unfortunately dont have this album
You can pick up a track from him at my blog. In fact Killer Groove we run blogs with a similar concept however I restrict mine to one genre of music ...come visit :)

Where did you hang out, clubs etc and what era, radio stations etc. London by the looks of the postcode, so probably same as me.
